West Coast Swing Classes

Beginner Level Part 1: 6:30 – 7:30PM (This absolute beginner session is only offered once a year. Part 2 will follow in June and Part 3 will complete the West Coast Beginner series in July.)

Intermediate Level: 7:30 – 8:30 PM

West Coast Swing is perfect for blues and blues-based country as well as pop and hip-hop between 88 and 120 beats per minute. Musical interpretation is one of the hallmarks of this dance.

$50 for the 4-week session, No partner required. Intermediate dancers may drop-in for $15/class.

The Beginner track (May – July) will cover the following:

West Coast Basics 4

The Intermediate track for May will include the following, plus other material as time allows:

Behind the Back Whips starting at 1:05

Roll-in, Roll-outs 2:00 – 3:35 & Scroll Whip 4:45 – End

Private Lessons & Wedding Prep

Over the past 30 years, Jamie has taught thousands of people to dance. Now, in semi-retirement, he continues to work with individuals, couples and small groups at his home studio, near the Shaker Museum in Enfield, NH.

Cost: $70/hour (up to two people)

If you would like to build your own small group class, the cost is $70 for the first couple plus $5 per additional person. Maximum of 8 people for swing and Latin. Maximum of 4 people for Waltz, Foxtrot and Texas 2-Step.
